The better way to increase stabilizer levels! Instant UV Block is a next generation, fast acting liquid technology. Unlike older style, very slow dissolving stabilizer products, UV Block works fast. Just pour around the edges or slowly into the skimmer. Ideal for use with any chlorine sanitizing system.

Why:

• Dazzle Instant UV Block stabilizes pool water to prevent chlorine loss from the ultraviolet rays of the sun
• Without stabilizer being present, it would be very difficult to maintain a chlorine residual on a bright sunny day without increasing the amount of chlorine used significantly (more than 6 times as much)
• Stabilizer is also proven to slow the rate of degradation of vinyl liners, allowing them an increased life span in pools 
• The ideal level for stabilizer in a chlorinated, outdoor swimming pool is 30 – 40 ppm
• Once a stabilizer level reaches approx. 30 ppm, no more benefit can be achieved by adding more stabilizer
• There is plenty of confusion surrounding elevated stabilizer levels
  • Once levels reach 100 ppm, it is recommended that the water be diluted with fresh water to lower to <100 ppm
  • There is no effective way to lower stabilizer levels other than to drain water and refill with water that has no stabilizer present (dilution)  

When:

• Dazzle Instant UV Block should be used to raise the stabilizer level any time it is less than 20 ppm
• When stabilized chlorines are used regularly, the stabilizer level is unlikely to ever require topping up
• When unstabilized chlorines are used, or the pool is a salt pool, periodic top-ups are likely to be required based on the amount of water lost to backwashing, draining and splash-out

How Much:

• 330 mls per 10,000 litres will raise stabilizer by 10 ppm
• In a freshly-filled swimming pool, add 1 litre per 10,000 litres to achieve the ideal starting level of approx. 30 ppm 

How: 

• The best application method for Dazzle Instant UV Block is as follows;
  • Shake well and simply pour the required amount around the edges of the pool
  • If any of the product is visible in the pool, use the pool brush to mix it into the water 
  • When the bottle is empty, triple rinse to ensure all the contents have been added
  • Simple and easy – with instant results
• Alternatively, the required amount of product can be poured slowly into the skimmer
  • Backwash or clean the filter prior to applying in this way
  • Do not backwash for 24 hours to ensure all the product has left the filter
